"We were never able to afford quality dance instruction until we found DESPA!  I've always wanted to see my children dancing, since I danced for 11 years as a kid.  Over the years, I've looked for affordable options so that my children can get quality instruction; in my opinion that means not neglecting classical technique in addition to providing well-rounded experiences in modern styles.  Until now, I've felt discouraged and limited in options for our needs as a family who lives on a tight budget.  I'm so excited to see my oldest daughter has begun to LOVE dance, and is being encouraged and inspired by the family of instructors and new friends we've found at DESPA.  My 9 year-old dreams about being a ballerina.  I love watching her practice on her own initiative all day long and not having to listen to grumbling when it's time to leave for dance class!  My 3 year-old has so much fun in the preschool classes and I love the fact that she's also learning important skills in an enjoyable small-class atmosphere.  The studio and Miss Melanie have truly been a blessing and a joy in our lives.  We haven't had to compromise our beliefs on what constitutes acceptable costuming for young girls either.  We believe Miss Melanie truly has a gift as a teacher who meets her students' needs, encourages their growth, motivates them by building on their strengths, and has a heart for sharing dance with ALL."

"The studio has come a long ways as have I and I'm very excited to continue my dance career through DESPA! It's a great studio with teachers who genuinely care about the students. All the students here are great too. Everyone helps out and stays positive. Being the first student of the studio allowed me to be a rolemodel to others as well as look up to older dancers to aspire to be like. The enviroment for the studio is great and I always look foward to coming to the studio; whether it's for my own class or a couple hours on a day for a private."

"As homeschoolers I am so glad we signed our daughter up for the homeschool class a year ago. Miss melanie has made a huge difference in her offering way more opportunity to learn. Miss Melanie has even taken to my two year old son who loves to dance. Even though he is not currently in a class she always gives him a moment of spotlight at the end of class and encourages him so much that he looks forward to going to his sissy dance class every week. They are absolutely an exceptional dance school. The effort and dedication from the staff to their students is beyond words. Thank you for all that you do for these kids."
