Tuition and Pricing

 

Registration Fee:

For all students, there is a $10.00 registration fee. This fee is paid at the beginning of every year.

Payment Method:
The studio accepts both cash and checks for payments. Checks must be made out to Dance Explosion or DESPA with your child's name in the memo. Cash must be in a sealed envelope with the child's name on the envelope. Envelopes are provided at the studio and can be placed in the tuition box in our waiting area.

Tuition:

For our technique classes, (PK 1, PK 2, Elementary, Middle, and High), tuition is $40.00 monthly. This allows the student to attend make-up classes if absent to still be able to recieve the full 4 weeks of training for the month. If your child wishes to take twice or three times a week, tuition is $55.00 monthly. 

The studio does offer sibling as well as home-schooled student discounts!

 

For our competition team, tuition is $55 monthly. This includes the Saturday competition day schedule as well as their regularly scheduled technique classes throughout the week.

Costume Fee:
For all students, there is a $50.00 costume fee. This fee is paid closer to spring performance time and covers the cost of costumes. One may also opt to rent their costume for $10 and a different class will use the costumes another year for a different dance and theme.

Pay-As-You-Go Classes:

For our Zumba, Acro/Tumbling, Master Classes/Clinics, and Adult classes, these are pay-as-you-go classes. This means that you simply pay only on the day that you attend rather than in advanced. This is due to these classes being optional and attend only as you wish. Acro IS included in the competition team tuition. The class pricing is $10.00 per class unless notified otherwise by a staff member.
Private Lessons:

For privates, pricing is based on the instructor. The instructor sets the price. This is in addition to the price already paid for tuiton.
